Welcome to episode 47 of the Tablet PC Show! This episode is our first trans-continental one as I’m in Tampa, Florida (as usual) while Matt is in Berlin, Germany..
News & Updates:
- Craig Pringle writes that Motion has introduced RSS feeds on their support website. Wouldn’t it be nice if all PC manufacturers copied them?
- OneNote 2007 has a very cool feature: you can search audio recordings made in OneNote just like you can search text, ink, or text in photographs.
- Craig Pringle has written a nifty little utility for Windows Vista to make the Start menu search field much more usable on tablets.
- MiniScroller is a small utility which can make scrolling in applications much easier with a pen. It’s now being hosted at GottaBeMobile.com (who are also having a very cool giveaway contest).
Matt is using a new case for his tablet from Laptop Armor which provides excellent protection for his device.
He is also using a very nice travel power adapter from Kensington and we talk power adapters a bit, including mine (also from Kensington) and others from iGo.
Matt and I also talk about the latest release of Vista and go over from listener emails we’ve received.
If you have comments or questions or feedback, or a problem or issue with your Tablet PC for which you’d like help, please feel free to leave a comment here, email us, or leave us a voicemail right here!

Sorry, but this was almost unlistenable to due to Skype breakup, heavy breathing and Matt’s stumbling over his own words. I hope this doesn’t sound too harsh. I’ve been listening for a long time and usually enjoy the show (when it sticks to tablet stories)

Re: the RSS feeds on the Motion Website - they are not availble for drivers, they are on the knowledge base.
While I applaude Motion Computing for putting them on the KB I would also love to see them on the drivers page - as per my post.
